There are some excellent choices for accommodation with resort features once you leave the Sunshine Coast Airport. This small and unique village offers stunning views. It boasts a selection of world-class eateries, friendly bars and boutique shopping. Quiet and laid back, yet only 5 minutes from the bustle and glamour of Hastings St in Noosa Heads and the serene Noosa River. The National Park is at your doorstep, featuring stunning native bushland, rainforest walks, sheltered beaches and coves. Glass House Mountains near to the Sunshine Beach. The car park is a five-minute detour from the highway. You park at the bottom of the hill and then walk up the hill for about 15-20 minutes. It’s uphill, so bear that in mind a little.

A day out at Australia Zoo is a must-visit when on vacation in a family resort in Sunshine Beach. Established by the late Steve Irwin, the world-famous zoo offers an up-close and personal wildlife experience. The zoo is well-maintained, and many animals can be seen.
Visit the Noosa National Park:
Noosa is a gem on the Sunshine Coast, and a day spent there must be on your itinerary. Noosa National Park is ideal for a family-friendly hike amongst the beauty of the Australian wilderness. The first section of the trail is easy terrain for children of all ages. We followed scenic trails lined with lush foliage and stunning coastal vistas, looking for koalas and dolphins along the way. We weren’t lucky enough to see any, but we saw some cheeky kookaburras. The highlight was reaching the breathtaking Laguna Lookout, where we savoured panoramic ocean views.
Following a hike, you can enjoy walking around Noosa, where many lovely shops and boutiques exist. Then, enjoy lunch in one of the cafes or restaurants, many of which have pretty outside seating areas. After lunch, you can enjoy an afternoon on the golden sand beach with the luscious views of the national park in the background.
